I watched one and a half shows on TV this morning, and one of them is a “Magical PoC” teaches whitey to enjoy life (by dying! isn’t that awesome! PoC die and white people benefit!) episode.
This isn’t the only time Charmed has done this, either.
My little sister actually stopped watching Charmed because of that episode.
I haven’t seen Charmed in a minute (and the episode came out in 98, so I was a lil chiyuld) but damn that episode is just
wow
really
and Charmed has some okay stuff but they really effing love magical PoC
I also completely enjoy all that appropriation theys got thar. Remember the Egypt episodes?
I don’t and I am glad.
And while we’re on the subject of magical shows, let’s not forget the whole “Gypsy Curse” debacle in Buffy.
